How to Adjust Your Grillz

Option 1: Gentle Finger Adjustment
For a light adjustment, you can use your fingers to gently add tension. With clean hands, hold your grillz and slowly apply slight pressure by squeezing the front and back together. This is a delicate process; focus on feeling a subtle shift in the metal rather than seeing any major change. The goal is to enhance comfort and hold without distorting the design. If you need to loosen your grillz, proceed to remove tension by slowly pulling the front and back of the design in opposite directions.
Option 2: Adjusting the Side Tabs
Some designs include small tension tabs on the sides. These can be gently bent to fine-tune the fit. We recommend using a flat nose plier for this step, as it has smooth edges and minimizes the risk of scratching the surface.
Here’s how:
- Carefully bend each tab just a small amount at a time.
- After each adjustment, check the fit before continuing.
- Make slow, incremental changes; less is more.
- If you don’t have a flat nose plier, any small pliers will work in a pinch. Just be mindful of ridges or sharp edges that could mark the finish.
